Lords uphold ‘saviour sibling’ ruling

The BBC reported today, that the House of Lords upheld the ruling that the use of tissue typing to allow embryo selection for the purpose of treating a sick child was lawful. The concpet of ‘saviour siblings’ was one of the issues considered by our Young People’s Citizen’s Jury.

What do you think? Is this the start of the slippery slope or a wonderful blessing from new technology?
