Wales Gene Park and Cardiff University are hosting a two day symposium on ‘Genetics disorders and people from the Indian subcontinent – challenges for clinical services in the NHS’ from 22nd – 23rd November 2005, at the Wales Millennium Centre. ‘Genomics and Population Health’ is a one day conference being held on January 26th at the Royal College of Physicians, London. International speakers will be exploring the potential of genomics to improve the health of populations, its impact on society, and the implications for public health specialists. The conference is jointly hosted by the BSHG and the Public Health Genetics Unit.
