Although this BLOG site may have been dormant for the past couple of months we have been busy here at the Genomics Policy Unit and National Genetics Education and Development Centre.
A new report is now freely available at http://www.geneticseducation.nhs.uk/downloads/NursingEducatorsSurvey_Report.pdf that looks at Genetics Education for Nursing Professional Groups. This report is the result of a UK wide survey of both the current practice and needs of educators in delivering the genetics competence framework developed for nurses, midwives and health visitors.
