Dhavendra Kumar is a GPU Visiting Professor, a Consultant in Clinical Genetics at the University Hospital of Wales, Institute of Medical Genetics, Cardiff University. He is one of the Consultants for the All Wales Medical Genetics Service and the lead Clinician for Clinical Cardiovascular Genetics.
Professor Kumar’s new book has just been published. Many congratulations – immense contribution. This book is 1536 pages long. It provides detailed and comprehensive coverage of population structures, human genomics, and genome variation, with particular emphasis on medical and health issues in the emerging conomies and countries of the developing world. The book is the first of its kind to provide such comprehensive coverage of genomics in the developing countries.
